Thanks for all the Christmas Gifts!

I feel like a journalist now. Typing like mad...

I am currently writing a book called 'Dawn Caller'. I am trying to change the general idea of it because it follows the idea of the book series 'The power of five'. Once it is done, I will make a blog and then post it.

Yes. I have received many presents and one of which I will dearly treasure. A invisible diary set. I can write in invisible ink but I wish they would put a pen refill. I am very excited about school. Phew just get it over and done with! Stop making me wait so long!

Tick Tock Tick Tock

Continued from the last post.

First, a admin message:

Back to it. The supposed subject is PSLE so lets get to it.

Am I stressed? No.
Am I overworked? No.
Am I enjoying English? 70% yes.
Am I enjoying math? 50% yes
Am I enjoying Science? 100% yes (although I have not touched it for this holiday)
Finally, the ultimate question:
Am I enjoying Chinese?

Then the lightning strikes down. LOL. :p
Yes, I do. Then when my fellow Singaporean-primary-school-I-hate-chinese-readers read this, gosh. Lets see if i'll survive. LOL. double LOL. tee hee. Well, I used to hate chinese cos it was difficult. At my point of veiw. Perhaps it was because I was distracted in class or maybe I tended to go into 'sleep modes' during chinese and math lesson time. Well, I am not sure what happened but I now 99.9% love chinese. Clarification here. 'Sleep modes' are when I kinda sleep with my eyes open. Then teacher talking fades to murmmerings and my friends jokes become amplified. difficult position. I used to hate chinese because I just could not seem to remember how to write the words and remember how they are read. Good thing I stayed in 5G chinese class unlike my other friend. Well, on the last chinese calss, I got a beautiful little flower to award me for my inrpovement in chinese. She called it an inprovment flower, 进步花。Thanks to her, I have been spurred on to inprove my chinese and that blessed little flower sits on my desk in a handmade vase.

谢谢张老师!

Now I am waiting for someone to get online in MSN. Got any ideas to kill time?

PSLE

I am really concerned for my friend.

Is she doing well?

Is she eating well?

Is she smiling enough?

Seems that from my past calls to her, she is using the computer a lot. I will get permission from her and see if she will allow me to put her blog links here. Do comment positively.

Ok... Back to the subject. Phew. Just to tell you, try typing in the dark! Really puts the strain on your eyes!

Dinner time! I will tell you more on the next post! Goodbye!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Today is Christmas and boy am I tired.
Slept at 2 am last night because of me attending a Xmas eve church service it was REALLY fun. We sang songs (something everyone does), watched a play, had a short sermon then lit candles. Imagine that. The WHOLE group of about... 100 over people lighting candles. It was amazing. When I looked up, (we were RIGHT IN FRONT) I saw this sea of flickering candles and I thought," Lord, this is amazing. Let those candles keep on burning even after they are blown out." I really wanted to let the candles continue burning. I really can't imagine maybe the whole worlds lighting candles maybe on the same minute. the result will be fabulous. Don't you agree? That same thing will happen, just the whole world bowing to God.

Oh yes, I HAVE RECEIVED ANOTHER AWARD!!!!!!!!!!! Yes yes yes... thank you. Eh... please do comment, I want to know how my readers feel and really, pls FOLLOW my blog!!! Thx Thx Thx... Back to the subject. I have won altogether two awards.... Ill be receiving to vouchers of total 300 dollars. Cool eh? the first one is the EAGLE award, the other one is the Improvement award. Great eh? I have to admit, I am doing better in Chinese. I have taken INTEREST in Chinese. Thx to my family and my diligent tuition teacher. Clap Clap Clap. 谢谢您老师,谢谢您爸爸妈妈,我爱您!

我的华文进步了!

I love the way four Chinese words can join together and tell you something using only FOUR words.

Last of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Beautiful day...

Well, today went like a typical holiday day. I woke up, got ready, ate breakfast, did some work, then lazed around. laze, laze, laze... BORING! Today was the day I managed to unravel the secrets of the book 'Black Canary' VERY difficult. Something about time travel. Well, it is soooooooo cimplicated that I cannot give you a good summary. All I can tell you is:

1) The main character is a boy. 13 and his mother is African and I think his father is english.
2) He goes through SOMETHING that brings him back in time. weird. I still don't know what is the SOMETHING.
3) COMPLICATED

I am going to watch TV now. good bye. more updates tomorrow!

This is the LIFE

Phew. The Life it is!
Me and my family and been interacting more and having LOTS and LOTS of fun!
In the hot-sun. Yesterday, me, my brother and my mother went SHOPPING!!!!( Victoria would probably be reading her eyes out on this post.lol)Victoria LOVES shopping.
Well, we got some clothes at the new Somerset Mall. Not really a lot though. Does a few shirts count as a lot?
Well, then today, we went to the LIBRARY!!!! WHOO HOO!!! BOOK HEAVEN!!! lol. Well, I forgot to check out the book 'My sister's keeper' it sounds interesting. It is about this mother, she has just given birth but her baby has Leukemia. There is no match in the family so their only choice is to have another baby, one that will support the OLD baby. Well, when the NEW baby grows up, she decides that she doesn't want to help the OLD baby live anymore. She is suing her parents for rights to her own body.

Hot Hot Hot

Yesterday my presentation at church at E1 was a breeze but in E2, something went wrong so i didn't do it. One of the boys that was supposed to assist me was so disappointed that be cried. I can understand him. Before we went in, he was jumping about and smiling but when we came out, he was very glum.

Well, we went home then ate lunch then decided to go to little India for a birthday dinner for my mother.(today is my mothers birthday)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!

Well, hen we got there, it turned out that going there on Sunday was a BIG mistake. Since Sunday was the rest day for workers, the streets were FLOODED with them. They crossed the road in SWARMS and every time, they looked as if they were about to crash with our car. Very scary.

Well, dinner was very spicy and I had my share of 'spicy training' there. Volume 28 I think. LOL.
For those who don't understand 'lol', it means laugh out loud.

After that, we freshened up then went outside.

It was CHAOS outside. Finally, we managed to get to the shopping centre. Even there was CHAOS. Same.People river. 川流不息 (to flow past endlessly)

Well, we got what we wanted there and then went back home.

Well folks, that's about the end of the story!

Today

This morning, I woke up late. I was woken up by my sister (who woke up REALLY early today) but went back to sleep. When I woke up and done my morning stuff, my mother had already gone to work and my brother had gone to sailing class. I did the stuff my mother asked me to do (for her Sunday school class) and then set off to visit my paternal grandmother (my maternal mother already passed away this year due to cancer).

Oh yeah, this year has been a WONDERFUL school year and i learnt a lot through all the activities.

Back to the story. We had a whopping great time there and had my favourite noodle. Mee Sua. The sauce was thick and fragrant and the prawns were juicy and loaded with the sauce. Although me and my sister had to choke down the pieces of liver, it was a scrumptious meal. (cooked by my grandma)

After that, we went to pick up my mother at her kindergarten she runs. I managed to sneak in a few minutes of my favourite childhood computer games there. I always feel shy there. Perhaps it is because most of the people here are people who taught me when i was young. AND maybe it is because they converse is Chinese there.

THEN, we went to my brother's sailing 'graduation' ceremony. Since there was a shortage of seats and i felt claustrophobic, I went outside to play with my sister's new friends, two hyperactive toddlers. Not much fun there.

For dinner, we went to eat clay pot rice. I didn't have much appetite because I had such a heavy lunch but i finished two bowls of rice. After that, for desert, my family went to a drive through at McDonald's. My FIRST drive through experience! (we had ice cream)

To day was a great day . LOVED IT!!

Accident

A car accident occurred just now (evening of the 4th of december) opposite my house near the bu stop. When i got there, there were people around looking at the scene. A white car had it's front smashed to bits and the other car was not quite so bad as the other. We asked around so as to know what was going on. It seemed that i had gotten there pretty late because the ambulance had already left and the witness had already given her testimony. Cars coming out from the car park near by had the face the possibility of getting their car tires punctured by the broken glass. My mother had asked me to go there to 'improve my compo writing skills' but to me, it was just a accident due to the carelessness of someone. I have to go read my script for tomorrow. Going to recite it in front of the whole church tomorrow.
