^ oh hahaha i rmb this peice of art work. it was my first art peice i 2010. the teacher asked us to create a peice of work starting with two curly lines and a few straight lines. We were sitting on the bus thinking nothing of the scary experience that we did not know was going to happen.we reached there,me almost snoozing.We ran inside gleefully and was met with a sudden burst of a siren and we clutched at each other in fright,a urgent voice from some speakers,'Quick!close the door!'it caused us to run like rabbits into a room shown.we were trembling with fright and stumbled to the benches.What nice gentlemen were those boys!Not letting us sit on the benches!

the guide was talking as if nothing had happened and we moved to another room,ears covered.

Another 'attack' was made and ,of course,frightfully.

the lights turning off took us by surprise although the guide told us before hand.

lights turned off,bomb sounds and us shaking with fear.That just added to it ,we thought the room was shaking.Remember this,the lights were very dim.don't call us cowards

for the rest of the tour we tiptoed into each room ready to cover our ears.

we could not find the way out very well so we took a couple of wrong turns and,hey! what kind of scary place is this to get lost in?.....AHHH!!!!....ok,we did not scream to put you at ease.

after the tour,we RAN up the steps ,afraid that another siren was due to come,burst out into open air and we all heaved a happy sigh of relief.At last!!

after we came out Mrs Tan brought us up to a little park where there were a couple of weirdos doing a dare. One of them took off his shirt and ran right out in front of us. Creepier and creepier.... Then i rmb we sat on some thingy idk some kind of art thing with wood. Yah with tall stairs...I rmb all the boys climbing to the top d sittig on the wood... then we went to catch the bus.

PSLE results are out!

I've got 243... A*s for Eng and Science... As for chinese and Math.

I'm sooo happy i didn't get B for chinese.

Its quite good.. considering the highest for this year is 282. I hope i can get into NJC. it will be better to go to a mixed school instead of a girl's school... Personal preference.





I'm sooo gonna miss everyone once I get to secondary school...


Oh well.

I'm so sad for Jamie cos her parents saw her results and didn't allow her to go. :(

I mean when your daughter's sad don't make her even worse by preventing her from seeing her classmates for the last time!

Today was one of the most boringest exam days I've had. okay, maybe not. I mean with all the handshaking (all the father son holy spirit things) seriously we have an overload on those handshakes. i want to give you a normal handshake but you keep on twisting your hand for the son version. argh.

it strikes me as funny when Mrs David walks down the aisle to talk to someone and the whole hall just turns around in their seat. Then everyone suddenly turns back around when she walks back.

I have this issue about sitting down in front of the computer, with my head full of things i want to type, but when i pose my hands over the keyboard, my mind goes blank.

Oh ahahaha i remember after the exam today was so epic. Everyone was like talking about the questions and then got this teacher started walking around yelling at us to leave cos even though our exam ended others still got school. Hahahaha

Today math paper ok lurh.

Paper one i don't think i made too many mistakes i asked around about difficult questions and it seems that i didn't get any wrong but I'm still worried that i got little teeny tiny mistakes .

Due to complaints i have changed the font of this blog. Just be happy that I didn't decrease the size.

Lots of us are working super hard because we got a really short time span till the big exam.

My father's hands were rough and exceedingly strong. He could draw and saw a square with quick accuracy but what i remembered most was the special warmth from those hands soaking through my shirt as he took me by the shoulder on our evening walks. They were good hands that served him well and failed him in one thing: they never learnt to write. The number of illiterates in the country has steadily declined but if there were only one, i would be saddened, remembering my father and the pain he endured because his hands never learnt to write. When he started school, the remedy for a wrong answer was ten ruler stokes across a stretched palm. For some reason, shapes, figures and recitations just did not fall into the right pattern inside his six-year-old head. Maybe he suffered from some type of learning handicap such as dyslexia. His father took him out after several months and set him to a man's job on the farm.

Years later, his wife, would try to teach him to read. Still later, i would grasp his big fist between my small hands and awkwardly help him trace the letters of his name. He submitted to the ordeal but soon grew restless. Flexing his fingers and kneading his palms, he would eventually declare that he had had enough and would depart for a long, solitary walk. Finally, one night when he thought no one saw, he slipped away with his son's second-grade reader and laboured over the words, until they became too difficult. He pressed his forehead into the pages and wept. From farm to road-building and later factory work, his hands served him well. His mind was keen, his will to work, unsurpassed. His enthusiasm and efficiency brought an offer too become a foreman, until he was handed the qualification test.

It has always been hard for him to stand before a man and make an 'X' mark for his name but the hardest moment of all was when he placed 'his mark' by the name someone else had written for him and saw another man walk away with the title deed to his beloved farm. When it was over, he stood before the window and slowly turned the pen he still held in his hands, gazing, unseeing, down the mountainside. i went out to the barn that afternoon and wept for a long, long time.

Eventually he found a cotton-mill job and we moved into a millhouse. He never quite adjusted to town life. His eyes faded and the skin across his cheekbones became a little slack. However, his hands kept their strength and their warmth soaked through when he would sit me on his lap and ask that I read to him. He took great pride in my reading and would listen for hours as i struggled through the awkward phrases. When Mother left once for a weekend to visit her sister, Dad went to the store and returned with food for dinner. After the meal he said that he had a surprise for dessert and went out to the kitchen where could hear him opening a can. Then everything was quiet. i went to the doorway and saw him standing before the sink with an open can in his hand."The picture looked just like pears," he mumbled. He walked out and sat on the back steps and I knew he had been embarrassed before his son. The can read 'Whole White Potatoes'.

We had a really long break almost one hour.
Then I found out from the drinks store people that every year when there was PSLE listening comprehension exam, it would always rain heavily. And it did. :O

in the middle of the mock chinese listening exam we had this lil-no.. BIG bug about the size of your pinkie nail...

It landed on Luke's arm who then swiped it away.

Then it landed on Mathias' chair leg and he banged on his chair and it flew off on to the floor.

Then Luke prodded it with his pen and fly onto my chair leg and i prodded it with my pen so it flew to Jessica's chair leg.

Then i prodded it again and it crawled onto the floor.

Then Luke borrowed a set square from Wee Shaun and Jessica squashed it.

but that's not the end.

When we were walking up the stairs to the classroom(the boys hadn't gotten rid of the bug yet)
Ezra tried to scare Shaun Hay by swinging it at him but the bug fell off.

Arvin got us cheering the hall down during the celebrations with the swaying and waving to the music and all those "1,2,3 whoooo!" stand-up sessions. :D

Arvin is great at handling crowds of people. We were all so noisy and .. rowdy that it was difficult to get us to sit still. But Arvin did it. :D

Oh i asked about 30 ppl that came back to HPPS about what was their PSLE score.. only 6 ppl replied. And yes, Joey, I encounted lots of people but i only had time to ask one. (I've gotta go home you know)

I remember in chinese class today we had a few not-our-chinese-class-but-in-our-normal-class-people in our class so it got kinda crazy...Ryan Koh was like playing with his Patrick star toy and his pen.. and his urhhhhh tummy...(seriously, hes got a tummy like Patrick star but hes proud of it) Yeah.. anyway he was like patting it.. nd then playing some weird game about shooting his pen off his tummy into his pencil case... He was sitting with Shuan Hay and they were like sitting directly in front of the teacher.. so when Ryan started cheering to himself... The teacher sarted staring at him...and we all went AHAHAHAHAHAHA like mad. i think nearly the whole class was watching Ryan...so we all laughed. But some ppl like totally oblivious cos they totally didn't notice the whole incident.

If i were a teacher testing someone in PSLE I would be that kind of teacher, the kind that puts you at ease. :) But for a few unlucky someones, the teachers were like: ehhh Good mornin' *waits for student to sit down * Start.
o_O that's the horriblest kind of thing! i mean the student is doing her best to do her best and there you are showing that this thing is a total waste of time??!!

Cheryl Goh is also my cousin. The I've got Jamie as my grandmother and Jessica and Darryl Ong ( he doesn't know hes got children)for parents. Wow...I think Tristan is the father of Vera.. So as soon as the song began it was like the audience was singing instead of the performers and one point the music teacher asked us to stop singing for a while cos we were out of time. ( lol) Yeah the last group did Solo by IYAZ and since it was the second time they did that, the teacher asked them to stop da song cos he had heard enough to give em the scores. Today we had national day celebrations.
i think we lost for the game cards ( cos lyk almost all of us went to watch 5v5)

I think the 6A ppl didn't play fair cos they kept on hitting our team. But the umpires didn't lyk.. call them out. But later they got penalty cos one of the ppl shake the opponent by the shoulders lol.

I just found out that we got 2nd for overall class score. :O

Wow... I'd sure like to follow a person with a blog-a LIVE blog- that does not talk about pet society... Most of live the blogs I have here are from pet society maniacs. Sheesh. Its really amusing how much one can love a game in 2D.

Oh yeah, about the title, today during Chinese we were testing each other on oral. Joey was commenting on how much she loves writing on correction tape. In the end we only managed to do the five-minute planning.

So.. PRELIMS are in...a very short while... should I be panicking here?
I've found that I'm the type that is not easily panicked. I'll only start to get nervous when you push m up the stage with the microphone at my mouth. I'll only start to get nervous at the end of the five-minute planning session for oral. otherwise, I'm perfectly composed.

A lot of people getting sick in class with da sniffles. The first one was Yilin, which i presume is from over-stress. Another possibility is from the cold weather which started with drizzle in the morning and it stayed cold the whole day. Its been two days like this now and only a small number of people have brought jackets. trust me, its FREEZING cold. Eh... but not for a certain very warm-blooded girl who claims this heat is KILLING her. Ok... wow... I didn't know this was what you called terrible heat but if this is so... you can choose to make a complaint to the school demanding air-conditioned clasrooms and..well, an air-conditioned school! ShEeEsH!

hrmph.

Well, you can see that I'm bothered by the ehh heat.

Its been a while ok.. maybe a while may be an understatement.

I went to the NJC Higher Ability Selection test last Saturday. Its was em... ok? yeah. The school is so big. Now I'm all nervous about entering a new school (although I'm a thousand steps away). It's like being 6 years-old again. Oh well, I'll worry about it when the day comes. :)

Racial Harmony Day is... tomorrow... I wonder how many people are going to wear ethnic costumes. I doubt anyone will unless its one or two but they'll quickly regret it.
We had this weird puppet show about racial harmony yesterday. Its was rather hilarious seeing the puppets making weird guesses about other races' customs.

Today went to Pixar exhibition at Science Centre. Quite nice to see how it is animated :)
after that went to IMM to eat mcdonalds for lunch... ohhh the carbo...-_-"
after that went shopping (oh so tiring) for my sister then went to get shoes...then we went to popular and spent an enormous amount of time there...There I added another thing to my wishlist. :) just underneath Camera .

At nite made crowns for the sunday school kids...now typing on the computer publishing this blog post...

A* math lesson is soooooooo fun! yeah.. although at times it can be very boring, at least there's the 4Jz! ( Joey, Jadyn, Jamie and Jessica) Lesson time was... fun... we had one break before lunch and during lunch, I realised that 45 minutes is a veeeeeery long time. I wanted to meet up with Cheryl and Yi Lin to discuss the music test but... eherm, SoMeOnE was not there... -_-" >:(
Played monkey at the playground then went up for lessons again. Near the end our teacher gave us a break then we started milling around... there was another class also let out for a break so we sorta made a big commotion. ;) . Then the next class saw us having fun so their teacher let them go :) .
During the last half an hour we played a game of hangman and then played BINGO! :D I like our teacher. :)

Nothing else really... I've got nothing to type...

Today is father's day... we slaughtered crabs to eat. Chilli crabs. Yum. I read in the Discovery Channel magazine that over time, if you eat too much hot stuff, the body's burn neurons will be destroyed so that habitual chilli eaters can consume ever-hotter foods-and why they complain that food tastes bland without it. :o

I've added one more thing to my wish list. A camera. Then, once I get it, i'll be able to take pictures of my home :) .

Oh yes, I've got to report this weird thing that happened. Just two days after I last saw Mrs Martha John, I saw her name on my revision paper! (I'm still staring unbelievably at the paper)

Oh yeah, for all who want to know, the dead lizard only had it's skin on monday and on Tuesday, when Jamie Leong and I went to check, it was missing. << GM dead lizard ran off with it's skin ! :O


At least my fatique wore off, I had the effects of a late midnight night for about three days!

I attended the HPPS Success Seminar today and well... Nanyang Girl's seems quite nice because of all the activities and stuff. I've got to work hard for PSLE just in case I don't manage to get into NJC through DSA.

I'm very tired today.. I'm waiting for my tiredness to wear off then I am going to call Lisa...
I don't get my true kind of laughter when I with certain people. That's what I realised. I can really let myself go and have a great time, laughing care freely but that doesn't happen with my 6G friends. not much.

I really don't want to forget my time at camp. i'm like, afraid that momment will never come again.

GM & WM

Camp glee is finally over... I'm dead tired but that's the fun part about camps.

Camp Glee day 1:
Did some boring group stuff ... Bethany got locked in her room so she came late. Our team building game was quite fun. We were supposed to be blindfolded then scattered across the kidzone, after that we were supposed to find our team mates and then find a piece of string then make a star. Very difficult, but anyway we managed it against all odds. When we were finding our team, we had arranged to meet at a certain pillar near the outside of the kidzone so when I went there, this Senior stopped me and said something like : You are going outside the boundary, please go back. :O then we were like : this is our prearranged meeting place. Outdoor cooking was em.. bad because we ate rice that tasted awful so all of us ate a lot at supper.Again, as always at camp, we had diluted Milo.. We slept in the hall and it was quite difficult to fall asleep (hard floor) but we slept on the taekwondo mats needed for the competition the next day so I managed to fall asleep before day 2.I woke up twice in the morning, at 5 am and at 6 am

Camp Glee day 2:
Breakfast that day was quite small cos the seniors stole 5 slices of bread from us and all of us only got 1 slice of bread each. Lisa and I decided to have peanut butter and chocolate chip. Then we decided that it wasn't much different from plain peanut butter, just crunchier...We also got diluted Milo again.
the motivational talk was ok.. Hey Lisa, remember the Papaya?
Lunch was em.. YUMMY!!! but some of us had to finish our other member's lunch because they couldn't eat anymore...
Drill practice was just weird... the guy's turning timing is like: turn, one two three four, bang
so slow! and then his daughter, some show-offish young girl kept trying to act high and mighty as if she knows everything.. Oh for goodness sake! who turns kekanan puseng in the sediyah position! It turned out that that girl made her team suffer later on. hrmph.
Then the guy taught showed us how to put up a basha...there was this cool dead lizard nearby. After that we went into the AVA room to learn knots... knots are difficult...
Emm.. after that we did our talent night rehearsals.. it was so funny.. with the Camera ppl dusting makeup and the Mdm Old Lady yowling her head off about GM sheep. After dinner...after shower... TALENT NIGHT!!
WOOOOT *clap clap clap*
There was this weird thing about GLEE SHAMPOO then came US!! the great and mighty... GLEE NEWS!! lol. we got 2nd place. AWESOME!!
Supper was quite the same... just that we got the PERFECT Milo :D
I made quite a few trips down and up during bedtime... Lisa and me waited for 12 am then we fell asleep.. I again woke up at 5am and at 6am..

Camp Glee Day 3:
5BX... i hate 5BX...
Nothing much today, just a lot of laughing and calling of GM.. Jeeps posed at bedtime last night. i gotta lot of stuff from COOS...

Well that about all.. its a LONG story!

Camp Glee

In a few minutes time I am leaving my dear sweet sweet home to go to HPPS for my camp...
We just sent my grandfather and my brother off to Shanghai and now they are above our head flying.. at dunno how much km/h .

I hope I brought everything... its will be bad if i missed something out...

Laughter, the best medicine

Camp is soon and I haven't even started packing!

Everytime someone brings up the subject of the P6 overseas trip I go strangly quiet... I really wanted to go but now its like a dream shattered, all the hope of a fun time all gone. I know its kind of odd.Now almost everyone is talking about the trip so you see me go on and off, on and off.

I also heard from someone that some guy went to buy TWO itouches for my classmate! The reason why?: She wanted it. pffft we all don't know the real reason.. or at least I think so.

There are heavy weights on my eyes right now.. at least there isen't school tomorrow so I can sleep early wake up late-early.*yawn*

There isen't much to type about except that I got my report book back today.. I got all As and one B for math. I also got A for PE though many people got a B. idk why...

Today we saw Joey's sister.. her sister is quite..cute... they look almost identical! And of course, Joey didn't like it...

Life Instructions

I got this bad feeling that I will not be going to Vietnam this year with my awesome class . :C
I am 16th on the list, not much chance unless a misbehavior phase kicks up with my fellow competitors. In other words, not a chance. I'm quite sad... cos I really want to go to
Vietnam with my friends...

Today we had a Friendship talk.. or rather a relationship talk about boy-girls stuff... We kept roaring with laughter and well, towards the end we started to get restless and the teachers scolded us after the talk.

Just before our recess we had this weird math thing which came to our school. They showed us some plastic stuff and asked us to fiddle with them and well, have some fun and play around. Some of us girls ended up acting pre-schoolish again.

Cheryl: Mine! Mine!
Me: Cheryl; must share! Teacher tell us must share!
Cheryl: *pouts* Fine. I share with you ah! *hands me ONE piece*

Then Claudia and me starts fighting over the stuff... going "Cannot snatch!". BwaHaaaHaaHaaa.. so funny.

Today during GB we went absolutely hyper!
We player poison ball which was super fun... Jamie kept taking me out and I kept taking her out :D
Then during singspiration the P6es kept jumping up and down. :D
We all agreed that we went a bit over board. If our captain was there, i think we would not have enjoyed ourselves at all.

I just read that a 13 year-old boy is climbing Mount Everest! Gosh, i hope he fulfills his dream.

I love the thrill

Today went to Elisabeth's birthday party. SUPER FUN!I did abseiling...one time...rock climbing...0 times..eating...idk how any times har har jkjkjk.
Abseiling was very fun.
I think that the part where you "sit down" on air is the most scariest and thrilling. It's like believing that the ropes would hold you and trusting that total stranger who is holding the rope for you. Abseiling ROX! :D .
We kept thinking about p5 camp and saying that we forgot all the stuff like the belayer and stuff. Ohh.. the great p5 times.
Elisabeth' brother ( Timothy) kept using this squeaky balloons thingy to irritate me so I snatched away from him and did it on him. And someone used the squeaky balloon thing to make us laugh during the singing of " Happy Birthday".

Well, tomorrow I'm getting the exam results back. i hope i did well this time cos i really put a lot of effort into it. I topped the class for English part 2 so perhaps I'll do well.

We played with jumping clay after dinner. Jumping clay is quite fun.. *gasp*! i wonder what happened to my little yellow brick road and my handphone! And my IPAD!!

Mango Pudding/desert was nice. Its always nice.

Hmmm i miss the thrill of being thrilled. :¬( hopefully the time will come again.

Well, today is Mother's Day and we presented our gifts to our mother. and eh.. yeah...

Church was super awesome, we watched Friends n Heroes, then Elisabeth told me dearee Cheryl Till is joining us at her bday party!! WOOT!! Rock Climbing n abseiling here I come!!

Anyway, in today's newspaper I saw this guy that works in dialogue in the dark? yeah. Like, hes super awesome cos he is disabled but is doing social work! Awwweeesssooommmeeeee. So is Hafaz too.

I seriously can't think of a title.
A gentle reminder to all, this Sunday is Mother's Day. It is now too late to rush to the school bookshop to buy the present. anyway, the last rose was bought by an Indian student. :) so don't keep your hopes too high...

Art was ok-ok... We drove the poor music relief teacher mad and we joked about suing her on the grounds of verbal abuse rofl. In the end, Yi Lin, Cheryl Till and me got together for the SA1 music exam.. we're going to do a song.. maybe play the guitar or the piano but defiantly we're not going to sing solo or group. NEVA!!! If we were to, we'll die from being the laughing stock of the class. -.- i wonder what the other girls are doing...

I can't type long posts anymore :( . I've got no inspiration.

Well, I found out yesterday that if i go to NJC next year, there will be no O levels but there will be this xtra big exam.. something about Baccalaureate(IB) in order to enter university so I'm in a dilemma. Take O levels or a big exam? brrrr... I'm like determining the turn of my life at this point of time!! Better study hard!

I've almost just finished painting some paper plates for my mom.
Its roaring raining outside.
It sounds like hail.
Brr I hate thunder and lightning.

We're eating crabs later. One particular crab is very agressive so my Dad left it in the sink. Now if you try and stroke it is will WAH!! at you. I mean, try and pincer you. Scary!

I've got nothing to write so maybe I'll try and try to un-bored myself.

Mr Lim was so funny today during the exam..
But it was sooo freezing cold..we were like: tmr..I'm SO gonna bring a thicker sweater!!

Then when we were leaving the hall, people pushed in their chairs and he was like," DON'T PRETEND OK!! I know you guys don't do that in the classroom, so don't pretend."He so hilarious.

lol the best part was when Terrence was trying the wear his sweater and Mr Lim said: Terrence, your not a chicken so quit flapping your sweater.

Yeah.. there were somemore...but it will be boring if you read it all...
HAHAHA!!! IT WAS SO FUNNY!! THE 6I AND H CONSPIRACY!!!
